sand slipping through fingers...

Pain..

pain gives one a new perspective.
A new opportunity to scrutinize one's self and surroundings.

Pain is a looking glass through which one sees one's loved ones and those who cared.

at such testing times One begins to wonder, did One make a mistake?
Does anyone care if One ceases to exist, say, tomorrow?

One wonders,at the time that flew by,did it hold anything worth cherishing?

At times like these One realizes the fine line between angst and agony.
One finds it funny that how could one person sway One's life , in fact, One would venture to compare it to an eclipse.

In such distress,One whimpers about the days of past that seemed never ending, when everything was bright, bright enough to fade out the details, much like a steely sun does on a warm June day, reflected in all its glory by everything beneath it.

It is at times like these One empathizes with a character from Dickensian universe, one who has lost everything in the pursuit of one sweet symphony, only to have everything that was gentle and pure wiped off one's memory to result in a soul ,embittered by the lashings of a troubled desire, jaded by gloom and rejection, whipped into a mangled, ghoulish remain of a promising past.

It is at times like these One wishes to close his eyes, afraid to face another day which has more anguish than today.

It is at times like these One wishes that sand didn't slip through One's fingers, wondering whether it is already too late to accept loss, loss of what was once so cherished.

No one asks questions when everything's looking bright so yeah pain or moving out of ur comfort zone gives u a perspective of things. but the idea is to identify what went wrong and make amends while u still can. Just like the good days phased out bad days shall too :)
